I loved it!!!

I love dogs and I love dog stories. This story about Teddy shares a tender account of the life of a ‘stray’ dog and about an animal in danger because there is no one to care for him. The story makes a compelling case for ‘adopting’ a pet from one’s local animal shelter. There are so many Teddies out there and all would love a family to care for them even if they might miss some of the freedom. It is very sweetly told and beautifully illustrated. There are several small children I will share this book with and hope they will be interested in having a shelter dog join their home and become part of their family.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It’s a story my kids can relate to and understand, especially because it’s from the perspective of Teddy. Also, the illustrations are very sweet. A great book to add to your library!
